Bringing the Outdoors In
I love drawing inspiration for a room from the outdoors and when nubby textures and colorful threads compliment the brushstrokes of artistic beauty, it feels organic and natural. Actually touching the fabric swatches and coordinating artwork is my favorite part of planning a project.
Incorporating outdoor art into interior design is not just about the visual appeal, it’s about creating a connection with nature. Installing large windows or using botanical wallpaper can simulate the feeling of being surrounded by nature. This connection to the outdoors can create a sense of openness and airiness within a space, making it feel larger and more inviting.
Art depicting the outdoors often features a rich and diverse color palette inspired by nature. I love to take cues from artworks to develop color schemes for my design projects. Lake blues, earthy tones, soft greens, and floral hues can be used in furniture, accessories, and accent walls to create a harmonious and inviting atmosphere.
Drawing from the beauty of our North Idaho area, local artists can create pieces that inspire a personal connection, allowing us to create visually stunning spaces that our clients want to be in.
With artwork, we invite the tranquility of nature inside. The timeless charm of lakes, flowers and trees, provide elements that allow the natural beauty of the outdoors into the heart of every home.
