2/22/22 (TWOsday)
I have been excited for Tuesday, 2/22/22 for exactly eleven years when I held my newborn baby boy.
In honor of all of these TWOS, I would like to highlight one of the boldest transformations that might have you seeing double. Let’s take a look at these TWO photos…
Navy blue wallpaper on TWO walls anchor the space and draw attention to the centered white fireplace and beautiful artwork. Painting the wood white was a dramatic move that paid off and the TWO dark walls provide a beautiful stark contrast.
If a green sofa is a bold choice, TWO green sofas is twice as bold. But in this space, the decision provides symmetry and balance. The green complements the rug and draws out the natural greens in the art.
TWO custom chairs round out the sitting area and bring a subtle pattern to the space, making it feel interesting without drawing too much attention.
The arch of the TWO lamps soften all of the square lines in the fireplace, millwork and windows, and draw the eye up, while providing a functional light source.
Obviously, there is only one clock in the room, but it is a stunner! And did you notice? Wait… I guess you can’t see, but I’m pretty positive it reads 2:22.
